愈來愈多在美華人企業積極擴展中國或其他國家市場，聯邦小企業署(SBA)經濟發展專員郭曼麗，19日在法拉盛為企業主介紹如何利用政府資源和幫助，開拓海外市場。她表示，由美國政府機構與其他國家政府相關機構聯繫引薦，更有利於企業打入外國市場。

全世界96%的消費者居住在美國境外，世界三分之二的購買力在美國境外，打入國外市場已是許多企業的目標。郭曼麗指出，開拓海外市場，要先對目標國市場調查、評估，同時要知道美國出口和對方國家的相關法律。

她表示，最近美國和許多國家簽訂貿易合約，有海外業務的企業，應時刻注意這方面的法規改變。

郭曼麗說，許多政府資源都為拓展海外業務的企業家提供便利。由聯邦小企業署和商務部成立的出口協助中心，可幫助企業家接洽商務部在全球120國家的商務中心，幫助企業家找到對方市場。

聯邦小企業署也為出口企業提供相關貸款服務，幫助擴展海外市場。她說，曾有華裔企業家經出口協助中心引薦，前往中國與當地政府接洽；華裔企業家事後說，經由美國政府介紹，讓中國當地更加看重他的企業，比他獨自前往的效果佳。

此外，由美國政府開設的網站Export.gov，也為拓展海外市場的企業提供免費在線視頻課程，講解出口的過程、美國法律和相關細節。

郭曼麗說，如今越來越多的人運用電子商務平台，很多人認為將貨物賣到國外可以逃稅，但她提醒民眾任何電腦紀錄都會被保留，企業要誠實報稅，不要有僥倖心理。
